Self Defense Technique 1

Below you can see one of the innumerable self defense techniques of Pa-Kua Martial Art.
We hope to soon be able to offer you the pleasure of viewing on-line movies presenting various Pa-Kua techniques.
This section will be updated on a regular basis, please come back often.

One of the opponents is grabbed by the other in a two hands strangle-hold.
In order to release the hold on his neck he leans his upper body back and raises his right knee into the opponent's crotch area.

At the same time, he inserts his own hands in between the opponent's grabbing arms.
After replacing his right leg on the floor and spreading the opponent' arms apart, he step forward at 15 degrees with his left leg...
...and while holding the opponent's wrists he turn the whole body counter clockwise with a step forward of the right leg inserting his whole body under the opponent's right arm.
With the completion of the step under the opponent's arm, he now holds him in a lock of both arms and shifts his weight to the back leg.
With a step forward of the left leg he twists the opponent's arms in back of his body and pushes him forward to the ground.
