One-Step-Fighting Technique 1

Below you can see one of the innumerable techniques of Pa-Kua Martial Art.
We hope to soon be able to offer you the pleasure of viewing on-line movies presenting various Pa-Kua techniques.
This section will be updated on a regular basis, please come back often.

The opponents face off in a classical fighting position.
As one opponent steps and punches, the other shifts his weight on to his back leg and blocks the uncoming punch from the outside of his opponent's body.
He then shifts his weight back to the front leg and, while still blocking, steps around to the outside of his opponent in a circular fashion. He brings the other hand to the shoulder of the opponent's punching arm.
While the knife of the hand is placed on the shoulder is pushed forward on a shoulder pressure point, the hand placed at the wrist moves to the inside of the opponent's punch and a scissors effect is applied to the arm.
With continued application of pressure on to both points, the opponent's upper body is forced toward to the ground. The hand placed on the shoulder slips down along the opponent's shoulder...
...and reaching under the chin, the opponent's body is pulled back up.
A step back with the left leg and continued pressure under the opponent's chin, brings the opponent to the ground and allows for a disabling lock.
