Based on the flow of Energy
through the Universe, the study of Feng Shui helps us analyze our surroundings
and helps cater them to our personal welfare, well being and aspirations,
as well as that of our family. Deeply rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy
and social understanding, the Pakua symbol is the foundation to the intricacies
of Feng Shui.
The Energy surrounding us will dictate auspicious and inauspicious landscapes
for our homes or business, position of the main entrance, utilization of the
rooms, etc. In ones personal life it helps enhance the family harmony and
relationship between spouses.
The laws of Feng Shui help us understand the flow of Energy that travel through
our universe and assist us in living in harmony with the forces of nature.
The position of living quarters can be in harmony with its surroundings and
thus ensure its inhabitants a charmed life of harmony, prosperity and happiness.
On the other hand, living in disharmony with ones surroundings can lead to
a life of unhappiness, missed opportunities and accidents.
Through the study of Feng Shui we raise our awareness to shaping our environment
in a way that will maximize our good luck and eliminate the obstacles in the
path of our success.
Feng Shui has become increasingly popular in the last half-century and this
ancient Chinese knowledge has become an instrument used by many large contemporary
firms in designing their business surroundings. Architects work closely with
Feng Shui Masters in order to design structures that are not only appealing
and pleasing to the human eye, but work within the context of the larger universal
picture.
On a smaller scale, we can all benefit from the art of Feng Shui, by performing,
sometimes slight, modification to our abodes and eliminate bad Feng Shui.
Achieving a sense of well being in our home can be achieved by slight modifications
to our abode. Modifications such as the right plant placed in a certain corner
of the house, or the direction of the bed in respect to the door of the room,
as well as the choice of decoration and lighting for the main entrance. Developing
some sensitivity to these matters can easily be attained through the study
of Feng Shui.
The course in Feng Shui is available to both Pakua students and non students.
